My name is Megan Willetts and I have been providing childcare since 2008.  I began my career out of high school when I had an amazing opportunity to work with my mother at Coquitlam Continuing Education.  We provided childcare to immigrants and helped them in transitioning to the Western lifestyle. It was a very rewarding job to assist children in learning to speak English and interact with peers.  I loved observing the curiosity of children and creating teaching opportunities through positive interactions. Children are eager and open to learn and I took interest in the development of their young minds.  This is when I decided to pursue a diploma Early Childhood Education at Vancouver Career College.  While I was on my practicum, I began working with Cameron Children’s Center for a few years before I was offered the opportunity to work at Kuddles in January 2012. When I began working for Kuddles, I taught in the preschool program.  I also had the opportunity to teach the infant and toddler program. From there, I enrolled in school again to further my training and completed the Infant and Toddler Certification. After two years of teaching at Kuddles, I was presented the opportunity to become Kuddles Team Manager.  It has been an immense learning opportunity for me and I am thankful for the team we have created. The parents and families at Kuddles have made me feel so welcome and comfortable and I really appreciate the trust you instill in our programs.
